Even far from the city center there are many interesting stores for shoppers to discover. Pasing for example has still has its own little village center with market place, a small Viktualienmarkt and various store on the surrounding streets. At the Euroindustriepark around Maria-Probst-Straße in Freimann several supermarket chains, furniture stores, operate subsidiaries next to various large specialty stores and other. Moosach, Perlach and Riem each have a modern mall, big enough to spend an entire shopping day there.
And for a Sunday shopping spree you can always go to the München Airport Center with about 130 stores that are open seven days a week. Most outlet stores offering brand-name articles at considerably low prices can be found outside the city center. About 80 km north of Munich a shopping dorado specializing in inexpensive brand fashion, opened in 2005 – Ingolstadt Village. Fashion and accessories by more than 50 international designer labels are on sale here at extremely low prices – including famous brands such as Bäumler, Féraud, Helly Hansen, Mandarina Duck and Samsonite. If you need to take a break from shopping you can relax at a café or at the Bavarian restaurant. Jazz sessions, fashion shows and other events provide further entertainment.
